LOCATION : Hotel Sari Konak, set in the historic district of Sultanahmet, is a small family-run hotel taking pride in offering its guests a friendly and charming "home away from home" in Istanbul; with many guests returning on a regular basis. Sari Konak, which means "Yellow House", is a renovated old town house furnished comfortably like a stylish home.
The traveler who feels lost in a big hotel can experience the comfort and pleasure of home in such a small scale lodging where guests can establish friendships outside the boundaries of the classic customer relationship. Because of our personal service, you can be sure that you will not feel like just another room number.
ACCOMMODATION : Our rooms are double or twin-bedded and all of them have private bathroom (with shower or tub) with 24 hour hot water and hair dryer. Air-conditioning and direct-dial telephone are standard in all the rooms.
Our two suite rooms with bay-windows, in addition to standart rooms, have TV with international channels, mini bar and safe deposit box. A television can be put in the standard rooms on request, free of charge, on first come first served basis. Safe deposit boxes are available to our guests at front desk, free of charge. |
HOTEL FACILITIES : Our Terrace Cafe , which has uninterrupted view of the Sea of Marmara on one side and overwhelming view of the Blue Mosque on the other , offers a peaceful sanctuary where guests can unwind and recover , if necessary , from the tiredness of a long day.
We offer a variety of alcoholic beverages , soft drinks , fruit juices , as well as light snacks in the evening. Is there a better way to finish a day than with a glass of ice-cold beer , facing the setting sun behind the Blue Mosque ?
In the morning , you can have your breakfast in our courtyard outside where a fountain plays and an ancient Byzantine wall encloses you. Free internet access is available for our guests allowing them to contact their friends and family via e-mail.
