LOCATION: The Splugenschloss Hotel Zurich is located in the midst of a picturesque landscape at the northern end of Lake Zurich, set back in a residential district, away from the city noise, also walking distance from downtown. The hotel have fifty rooms including a suite and a junior suite. Every room is different because this is an old hotel, but this is something you can tell only from the beautiful ceilings with frescoes and stuccoes, because the house is such great condition that you would think it was built a few years ago. The rooms and suites are some of the best we have seen among the hundreds of hotels visited to make this guide, they go form a single room comparable to a small junior suite with a sitting area and a corner desk with all the comfort any business man may need, to the only suite they have.
