| LOCATION: The luxurious Gran Meliá Volcán Lanzarote is located directly on the shore, in front of the yacht-harbour Marina Rubicón, and just 1,5 km distance from the picturesque fishing-village Playa Blanca, on the southern coast of Lanzarote and 10 km from the impressive Timanfaya National Park, also known as "Fire Mountains" due to their volcanic nature. ACCOMMODATION: The hotel has 255 rooms, which are spread over 20 typical houses, 8 of which are Junior Suite and 14 One-Bedroom-Suites. All rooms are equipped with terrace or balcony, sitting area, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, mini-bar, security box, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, bathrobe, complete bathroom with hairdryer and makeup-mirror. Junior Suites and Suites have in addition a separate shower and a bathtub with hydro-massage.
