LOCATION: The Trinity Capital Hotel is located at the junction of Tara Street and Pearse Street in the centre of Dublin city. The hotel is located within a short walking distance of most of the major visitor attractions in the city, most notably Trinity College from which the hotel draws it's name. The principal shopping area in the city is Grafton Street which is less than five minutes walk from the Trinity Capital Hotel. The city centre is also the primary business location and the hotel is close to Dublin's new International Financial Services Centre.

If you are coming to Dublin for the night life, you could not be better placed. Temple Bar is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and is great "craic". The city centre is fairly compact and there are loads of pubs, restaurants and night clubs to explore. Guests at the hotel are entitled to free admittance to all of the bars and clubs operated by Capital Bars. These include many of Dublin's top night spots, the majority of which are within walking distance of the hotel.

ACCOMMODATION: The accommodation at the hotel is comprised of 82 standard and superior rooms, all of which have been tastefully decorated and equipped to the latest international hotels standards.

The hotel's spacious ensuite bedrooms are fully equipped with satellite TV, radio, pay-per-view movies, direct dial telephone, separate data port, ironing facilities, in-room safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Mini suite offers additional facilities such as spacious bathroom with jacuzzi, mini fridge, mini hi-fi system, bathrobes and slippers and complimentary spring water with fresh fruit.

FACILITIES: The hotel has 2 restaurants, Siena Restaurant and Wine/Coffee Lounge which offers a "bistro style" menu.

For conferences, the hotel has a function room which can cater for up to 30 persons. The room is furnished with overhead projector and screen, flipchart, TV and video and direct dial telephone with additional ports.

LOCAL ATTRACTION

  • Trinity College
    Founded in 1592, Trinity College is one of Dublin’s best-known landmarks and home to some of our great historical scholars.

    The famous Book of Kells, a 1200-year-old manuscript and one of the oldest books in the world is on display here and is certainly worth a visit.

    And there is more to see and do – visit the Library long room, watch the 45-minute audiovisual display on “The Dublin Experience”, or simply while away the hours in the Reading Room. Just a two-minute walk away; make sure you get to visit.

  • Temple Bar
    Known as the “left Bank” of Dublin’s city centre the Temple Bar area offers a colossal amount of pubs and restaurants with street entertainers, trendy unique shops, theatre festivals and ad hoc concerts.
    Temple Bar is a hive of activity and is certainly worth a visit. If you are somewhat adverse to crowds, perhaps an afternoon stroll would be preferable! Just a five-minute walk away, it’s very busy so be prepared!
  • Grafton Street
    A shopper’s heaven stretching from St Stephens Green to College Green, Grafton Street offers some of the best shops and department’s stores in Ireland.

    Shop to the background music of street performers of classical, rock and jazz music, dare to stop and watch the mine artists bat an eyelid. Lots going on from face painting to hair braiding to poetry sessions and who knows what!

    Don’t forget top pop in to “Bewleys” famous coffee house for that well-earned treat. Just a five-minute walk away, bring your credit card!
  • Dublin Castle
    A 13th century Castle, having survived various sieges, being used as a prison and nearly destroyed by fire, Dublin castle is certainly worth a visit.

    An expansive building with a massive courtyard, it also houses The Chester Beatty Library. Located less than a ten-minute walk away.
