LOCATION: Siquijor is a small island belonging to the Visayas. In the south west of Siquijor is the Coco Grove Beach Resort close to the village of San Juan. The island itself is still a hot tip for tourists and that's why it is nice for people who like it easy going. There is a very white sandy beach just in front of the resort and from there you can make many wonderful dives.
GETTING TO COCO GROVE
The fast ferry from Cebu City will bring you to Larena in approximately 4 hours. You can also take a fast ferry from Dumaguete to Siquijor Siquijor.
ACCOMMODATION: Well maintained and nice designed Coco Grove Beach Resort is at the white sandy beach and has a tropical atmosphere. The Philippine management is always friendly and helpful. All the roomy bungalows have a veranda, air-conditioning, warm shower and mini bar. A large swimming pool surrounded by palm trees is available for the guests.
RESTAURANT: Have a cool drink or a beer at the beach bar or sunset bar. In the restaurant you can have delicous food and from there you have a nice view to the sandy beach. Sometimes there are dance shows in the resort.
FACILITIES: Aside from the beach, a fresh water pool is also available. Use of sports facilities including billiards, darts, volleyball, table tennis and paddle boat are complimentary. Resort rents out a speed boat, dinghy and a pump boat. A dive shop and a diving school (Sea Explorers) are within the premises. Guided tours to the waterfalls and nearby islands as well as snorkelling and mountain climbing are some activities provided by the hotel.
Business facilities include a meeting room for 30 persons with basic audio-visual equipment and telephone/fax at the reception.
