LOCATION: located in Dauin opposite Apo Island, where you still find fresh air and peacefulness. Yet the resort is only a 20 minutes ride from Dumaguete, a busy university town on Oriental Negros .

| ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES: |
| All the rooms of Castaways Beach and Dive Resort are designed according to western standards and fully furnished with beautiful 'rattan' furniture. The rooms include climate controlled air conditioning, over-sized ceiling fan, a fully stocked refrigerated mini bar, international/universal 220V wall sockets/outlets (designed to accept all plug types), cable TV with an extensive choice of programmes, 17" colour TV, private safe for your valuables and full en-suite shower facilities. Several rooms have the option to be extended with an additional room to accommodate 2 further guests. The rooms are serviced daily (unless otherwise directed by our guests). |

Four beach front rooms are positioned directly on the beach and have fantastic sea views of both Apo Island and Siquijor Island. The remaining rooms are set back from the large pool with its picturesque water features and all have sea view from their private terrace.
The restaurant of Castaways Beach and Dive Resort is located directly on our golden sandy beach and was designed to be open and airy, allowing a constant and welcoming cooling breeze to pass through. Particularly during sunrise and sunset, views from the restaurant are stunning; the sea is at its calmest and the unimpeded views of Apo Island and Siquijor Island are spectacular. The soothing sounds of the waves brushing on the sandy beach, just adds to making your dining experience truly memorable.
The restaurant offers a complete range of International cuisine, with full a-la-carte menu or choices of meal packages from Continental Breakfast to Full Board. Castaways Beach and Dive resort is already famous for its excellent cuisine and offers unrivalled value for money. A main dish typically costs around USD 5.00 and a San Miguel beer costs less than 50 US cents.
DIVING: Diving in the Philippines and specifically diving in Oriental Negros off the coast of Dauin is a truly amazing experience. Oriental Negros is situated outside the typhoon belt and allows for year round diving. Water temperatures are 27-31 degrees celcius all the year round, so a thin wet suit or shorty is normally sufficient.

| DIVE OPERATION: |
Castaways Beach and Dive Resort offers through their 'in-house' PADI dive centre Abyss Pro Dive PADI courses, supervised by accredited PADI instructors. Whether you are complete novice, an experienced diver who wants to broaden his/her diving skills or even a dive enthusiast who wants to become a professional dive instructor, Castaways Beach and Dive Resort can accommodate your wishes with a broad range of PADI courses ranging from Discover Scuba Diving up to professional level.
Their training facilities are amongst the best; have the biggest training pool in the area, avail over dedicated training rooms with A/V facilities and have ample space to store your private equipment. Also, their guided tours to the amazing dive sites at Dauin, Siquijor Island and Apo Island are done under the direct supervision of our experienced European PADI instructors. |
Abyss Pro Dive avails over several dive boats, amongst others our new, large and sturdy catamaran with space to comfortably accommodate up to 12 passengers on the longer trips to the dive sites of Apo Island or Siquijor Island, or our smaller 'Boston Whaler' which can accommodate up to 10 passengers on the short trips along the coast of Oriental Negros to the dive sites of Dauin. |

| Divers who do not own their own equipment or simple do not wish to carry the extra weight on their journey, will appreciate our stock of high quality rental equipment. All equipment is regularly serviced and in excellent condition. Most equipment is brand new and only from reputed brands such as Mares. |
