LOCATION: Angaga Island Resort is located in the center of South Ari Atoll, Republic of Maldives. The size of the Island is approximately 42372 square meters. Distance from the Male` International Airport is about 85 Km and it takes about 25 minutes to reach the Island by Seaplane. The Island is surrounded by white powdery, sandy beach (about 30% of the Island) and crystal clear water lagoon and house reef which is best for snorkeling and Diving.

ACCOMMODATION: There are 50 rooms all the same, with hot and cold water, air conditioning and a fridge (buy your own drinks to put in). Private verandahs in each bungalow lead straight out into your own section of "Private Beach". Further a graceful Maldivian "Undhoalhis" (Swings) hanging in each bungalow, will rock you into relaxation and comfortable slumber while you attempt to read your favorite novel or magazine.

The inside of the room is plain, the bathroom is partly open to the sky. All would be very well, except that when we visited the tap and shower water was a mix of desalinated and salt water. This was a major disappointment, though we are now assured that salt water is no longer used.

In room amenities Fresh water, hot & cold water, Air-conditions, Mini refrigerator, Satellite TV, Hair Dryer, Wc, Luxury bamboo furniture, Local type of swing on each room veranda, Half Open bath room etc.

RESORT FACILITIES: Bar, Disco, Souvenir shop, Coffee Shop, Tennis Court, Diving center, Water sports center, restaurant , and medical attention wherever necessary.

RECREATIONAL FACILITIES: Island hopping on dhoni, snorkelling, evening fishing weekly calypso band and crab race, occasional disco, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, darts , diving, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, water-skiing, and tennis.
