Each room is a bit different, but all have exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings, distinctive furnishings and fabrics, custom cotton bedding with triple sheeting, cotton bathrobes, large reading chairs, and glass-topped desks. The marble baths have large gilded mirrors, gooseneck faucets, plush bath linens, and quality bath products. In-room spa services are available for a fee.

DINING

• Las Canarias - This restaurant is known for its attentive touches, such as freshly brewed iced tea served with a sprig of mint and a tiny vase of chilled syrup. The romantic, casual setting includes three levels of interior seating. Guests are also served on the courtyard or veranda overlooking the Riverwalk. The menu features American regional fare, including seafood, steaks, and game meats. Open daily, the restaurant also hosts a Sunday champagne brunch.
  
• El Colegio - Once the library of the old St. Mary’s College, this intimate piano bar has a fireplace and serves a wide selection of wines, beer, and Tex-Mex appetizers. It opens daily at 5:30 PM.
