LOCATION: Located on a private beach five miles east of Sangster International Airport and 10 miles from Montego Bay town center. The area is quiet and lined with hotels (Sandals Royal Caribbean, Holiday Inn, Half Moon and Wyndham Rosehall), villas and shopping centers.
Coyaba is family built, family owned and family operated. Proprietors/managers live on the property. All new construction, opened in August 1994.
ACCOMMODATION: Coyaba is luxury on an intimate scale, with 50 tastefully appointed guest rooms, all with air-conditioning and large private balconies. The rooms at Coyaba are furnished in plantation style with hand carved furniture, Schumacher fabrics and Italian tile. All rooms have french doors leading to oversized private balconies. Some have floor to ceiling windowed dining alcoves, "junior suites" sitting areas, rattan chairs, four poster beds, vaulted 17 foot ceilings on the top floors.
All rooms have air conditioning, telephone, ceiling fan, hair-dryer, satellite TV, VCR, clock-radio, coffee maker, iron and ironing baord. Cribs and additional beds are available upon request for a nominal fee. Junior Suites are oversized rooms with king or queen beds, sofa seating areas (some sleepers) and mini-refrigerators. Deluxe rooms have king or two double beds. Connecting rooms are available in Junior Suites to Deluxe combinations.
RESTAURANT & BAR: Coyaba has three full service restaurants.
