LOCATION: Casuarina is located in the parish of Christ Church on the south coast of the island, adjacent to the St. Lawrence gap. The elegant 160 room apartment hotel is set amongst eight acres of abundant tropical flora of vivid beauty. The gardens are met by the soft coral sands of a 1500 foot stretch of beach and the brilliant blues of an inviting Caribbean ocean.

Casuarina offers so much. There is a range of activities from entertainment to education, dining to satisfy every palate, art and craft for Caribbean culture and Bajan manner and, encompassing all of this, we are an environmentally friendly hotel.

ACCOMMODATION: We are a five block, 167 room apartment hotel with a choice of view of the ocean, the pools or the gardens. The tastefully furnished rooms, all with original art works, are spacious, air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan. The bathrooms include both shower and bath facilities. There is television, radio, telephone, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave and coffee percolator in all of the rooms. In our lounges we have STV television including Lifetime, TNT, CNN, ESPN and the Cartoon Network.

The majority of our rooms have interconnecting doors, ideal for large families or parties. Rooms have either twin beds, two double beds or a king size bed. There is a one bedroom unit which has a king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We also have larger two bedroom penthouse apartments with living area and private sun-deck. There is a selection of rooms for wheelchair access.

DINING: The Dover Reef Restaurant & Bar offers a variety of menus to tease and titillate the taste buds enticing you with a true taste of Bajan cuisine. We vary our menu serving A La Carte, local specialties, buffets and Caribbean fish. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can be sure of a wide variety to chose from all washed down by an array of exotic cocktails and local tropical juice from a well stocked bar. In addition to our main bar, we also have our Mahogany Bar & Lounge where you can relax in the shadowy serenity of the late afternoon sun. Sit in the cooling comfort of our locally made, dark, mahogany furniture and sip a Casuarina cocktail or be served afternoon tea.

FACILITIES: At Casuarina we have a souvenir and boutique shop, evening entertainment, an internet service centre with free use to guests, a hammock garden, tennis courts, numerous board games and sports competitions with prizes to be won. Our Activities Centre can arrange a wide variety of activities to suit your interests. For physical exercise visit the World Gym at no cost with free transportation provided. Join in pool aerobics or practise Tai Chi. We provide history talks, poetry reading and storytelling. There are art tours, nature walks and astronomy on the beach. We keep busy so that you may take home with you more than a sun tan - an experience and knowledge of Bajan culture.

Children
We welcome children and are well facilitated to meet their needs. There are high-chairs and cribs, a play ground including amongst other things, a slide and a Bajan chattel dolls house. There is a play room with toys which is supervised by a trained nursery school teacher who, for no charge, involves the children in activities. In addition to our larger and deeper swimming pool we have a circular shallow one which is ideal for kids.

Conference Facilities
Our fully air-conditioned Conference Room comes equipped with a podium and built-in screen for image projection. There are 110V power outlets available.
