HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: Voyager Beach Resort has four restaurants catering to a wide variety of tastes and appetites. The Mashua Restaurant offers sumptuous buffets with different themes for dinners. The Mashua also serves breakfast for all guests. On the outdoor terrace is the Captain's Table, where a member of our senior staff entertain guests each evening.
Our à la carte seafood restaurant, the Smugglers' Cove, is located in a hidden coral cove and specialises in seafood and grilled meat dishes. Located beside the sports pool, the Minestrone Restaurant serves light lunches and table d'hôte dinners with an emphasis on Italian cuisine. For light snacks during the day, the Lighthouse Coffee Shop offers sandwiches and ice-creams beside the resort's cyber café.
The Voyager has three bars, the Kaskazi Bar beside the sports pool, the 24 hour Harbour Lounge Bar, and the panoramic Lookout Bar with sweeping views over our private bay. Every evening there is entertainment from the best Kenyan dance bands, cabaret performers, acrobats and local folklore dancers. For those looking for late night entertainment, the hotel's own Starion night club is a few steps away.
There is a water sports centre where guests can windsurf, sail and visit the coral gardens for snorkelling and viewing through a glass bottomed boat. Deep sea fishing is also available through the centre and there is a diving school on the premises where lessons are available for beginners.
There are also floodlit tennis courts and lesser amenities such as table tennis, darts and pool. There is a gift boutique which sells necessities as well as tasteful examples of local craft and beach wear. Other services include express laundry facilities and a medical clinic with a doctor on call. Rates include all meals, drinks (local brands), watersports, volleyball, tennis and indoor games. |
